The issue is that members of your association are just that – it is your association that belongs to the BBKA. However the shorthand of ‘BBKA members’ to include your registered etc members has crept in. In itself this is not a problem in internal communications, but on websites in particular it is important to show that the beekeeper is a member of the local association and the association is then a member of the BBKA – which in turn attracts benefits that accrue to the beekeeper.
