Beekeeping Near You Map

There is a map available to the general public displaying the location of participating branches. This will be linked to the BBKA website from the 1st October 2022

To enable your Association/Branch details to be displayed, the Association must grant permission for the map to be viewed by the general public.

Within eReturn2 there is a tick box in the Association details screen that must be set. Only Association Managers can do this. Once this tick box has been set, branches can decide if they want their details on the map.

If an association does not have branches, this tick box may be greyed out. If that is the case, please contact support who will grant you access to this field.

Once the Association Manager has received permission from the Association they can sign-on sign on as MANAGER and go to “ASSOCIATIONS”, select their Association record.
In the bottom right corner, there is a tick box “Publish association details ….”

Once this is ticked, branch data can appear on the map.

BRANCH INSTRUCTIONS
Each branch can opt in to have their information displayed on the map

To do this go to SETTINGS – CUSTOM FIELDS and about halfway down the page there are a series of boxes that can be completed. Once this is done then the data will automatically appear on the website https://www.bbka.org.uk/find-beekeeping-near-you

NOTE The Association/Branch website URL that you enter on the Custom Fields page must contain the full URL prefix ie https://****.co.uk/   (not www.***.co.uk, ie you need the http:// or https:// in front or the web address)
