Creating an email template

To send out bulk emails it is necessary to first create the template to be used.

From SETTINGS- CREATE EMAIL TEMPLATES click Create new email template.

Give the template a name, description and subject. Select the correct data source.This will usually be Members unless the emails is to go to Officers or is to be used in connection with the online payment system in which case again chose the right data source.

Start writing your email and if you need to add information from any of the database fields click on “Insert Field” and select as appropriate.

If there is to be an attachment then this should have been created previously see “Creating Documents” 

Select your attachemnt from the drop down list and then save the template. to send the emails see “Sending emails”
